According to the UAF press service, FSK "Palmira" - one of the strongest amateur teams in Odessa - faced the Ukrainian veterans in a fiercely contested encounter. At the start of the match, the home team took the lead with a goal from Ruslan Khvan, boosting their confidence early on.

In the second half, Yuriy Maksymov equalized for the veterans, and the match ended in a 1:1 draw. The outcome was decided by penalties, where the veterans proved to be more accurate, winning 3:2.
