On August 23-24, 2025, a sailing competition took place in Odesa, dedicated to Ukraine's Independence Day.

The event featured races in two classes: ILCA-4 and «Optimist». In the «Optimist» class, 23 young athletes made their debut.

The winners of the competition were:

  • in the ILCA-4 class - Yan Batsansky;
  • in the «Optimist» debut (juniors) – Lev Nikolenko and Tetiana Shvets;
  • in the «Optimist» debut (seniors) – Matviy Parchenko and Natalia Shvets;
  • in the «Optimist» class - Hryhoriy Filinyuk.

The winners received trophies, medals, and valuable prizes provided by sponsors.
