The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadii Trukhanov, met with a French delegation led by Martin Duplantier, the president of the Architecture et Maîtres d'Ouvrage (AMO) association.
During the dialogue, both sides explored projects that the architectural firm and the association could assist with, particularly in the realms of medical and educational facilities, as well as cultural heritage preservation.
"France has always been a steadfast ally of Odesa. We support Ukraine during these challenging times and are interested in further partnership and investment in Odesa. Today, we are looking into restoration projects," said Mr. Duplantier.
Hennadii Trukhanov expressed gratitude for the attention to the city, emphasizing that caring for children and creating developmental opportunities for them is a priority.
"Unfortunately, the number of children requiring special attention is increasing. Therefore, we need to establish a facility where children with disabilities and special educational needs can receive medical and rehabilitative assistance, as well as education. Our team of educational and medical specialists has developed relevant proposals, featured in the "Swallow" project, - noted the mayor.
Mr. Duplantier expressed confidence that, in collaboration with the French government and various European Union institutions, grant programs will be found to implement this significant project.
