Last week, a special event was held in Odesa to celebrate Defender's Day of Ukraine, providing a Health Day for military personnel, veterans, and their families. This initiative was supported by the Department of Health of the Odesa City Council and the Odesa City Health Center.

During the event, healthcare professionals conducted comprehensive preventive examinations, measured blood pressure and blood glucose levels, and performed ECG tests for military personnel, veterans, and their families. Referrals for specialist consultations and laboratory tests were provided as needed.

To assess the mental health of participants, psychological consultations were offered within the framework of the nationwide mental health program “How are you?” to provide free psychological support.

As a result of the event, 408 individuals underwent preventive examinations, with all participants having their blood pressure and glucose levels measured. A total of 136 ECG tests were conducted, revealing 103 cases of health issues, leading to referrals to specialists and additional laboratory tests. Additionally, 84 psychological consultations were provided.
