In Odesa, Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov presented an honorary award to Oleg Mosenzov, a specialist from the Municipal Enterprise «Service Center», who recently returned from an important business trip where he was involved in building fortifications.

The award was given in recognition of Constitution Day in Ukraine, honoring his professionalism and diligent work.

Oleg is 45 years old, and for the past three years he has worked in the municipal sector, primarily servicing protective structures and resilience points. Although he is a trained builder, he has changed many professions throughout his life until he found, as he puts it, a great team and working conditions. His mother also worked in the municipal sector for many years.

Oleg Olegovych has some health issues that make him unfit for military service, but when he was offered to assist our defenders alongside other municipal workers, he immediately agreed.

«We tried hard to do everything properly. There are constant shellings that are hard to get used to. The moments of silence are so rare that they put you on edge. It was more difficult psychologically than physically. We were always on alert. With one hand, we held our bulletproof vests to shield ourselves in case of an attack. I can’t say it was scary. We went voluntarily, knowing we had to do this work; it was our duty», - added Oleg Mosenzov.
