Free Psychological Assistance for Veterans and Their Families: How to Access Support
The government offers veterans and their families free psychological assistance. These services are available individually, with family, or in groups.
Psychological support for veterans is provided at three levels:
- Social-psychological support — includes social services for accompaniment, adaptation, and counseling.
- Psychological support — individual sessions with a qualified specialist.
- Medical-psychological rehabilitation — treatment and rehabilitation with a team of professionals.
The government fully reimburses providers for the cost of psychological services for veterans and their families.
