On April 20, there were 96 armed clashes on the frontline, with nearly 40 enemy attacks on the Pokrovsk direction, totaling 1882 shelling incidents against the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilian areas.

Details: In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defensive lines near the settlement of Krasne Pershe.
In the Kupiansk direction, there was an attack by invaders in the area of Holubivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 12 attacks, attempting to penetrate our defenses near the settlements of Nadiya, Myrne, Hrekivka, Katerynivka, Nove, and Yamplivka.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy made three attempts to advance in the area of Bilohorivka and Ivanivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked five times near Chasiv Yar and towards Stupochky and Bilya Hory.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted 10 attacks near Druzhba, Toretsk, and Leonidivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders halted 39 assaults by the aggressor in the regions of Sukha Balka, Myrolubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, and Rozliv.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy carried out five attacks in the area of Kostiantynopil, Skudne, and towards Otradne.
In the Orikhiv direction, occupying forces advanced four times on our defenders' positions in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Stepove.
No clashes occurred in the Huliaipole and Dnipro directions during the previous day.
No signs of enemy offensive group formations have been detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
In the Kursk region, the enemy conducted 184 shelling incidents, 17 of which were from MLRS. Ukrainian defenders halted 16 assaults by the invaders.
The soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, actively undermining the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.
