Ukraine has completed the repatriation of 1000 bodies, reportedly belonging to Ukrainian servicemen according to Russian sources.
This was reported via Telegram by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
In the near future, law enforcement agencies will collaborate with experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to conduct necessary investigations and identify the repatriated bodies.
This repatriation effort was made possible through the collective work of the Coordination Headquarters, the Joint Center under the Security Service of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other entities responsible for security and defense.
The Headquarters expressed gratitude to the International Committee of the Red Cross for their assistance.
A special thanks was given to the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for transporting the repatriated fallen heroes to designated state institutions and organizing the transfer of the deceased to law enforcement representatives.
Law enforcement agencies and experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs will quickly work to establish the identities of the deceased.
