Odesa experienced a large-scale attack involving strike drones, resulting in significant damage to energy and civilian infrastructure. This information was reported by the emergency services.
As a result of the strikes, fires broke out at energy facilities and in a three-story hotel-restaurant complex. Firefighters successfully rescued two individuals and quickly extinguished the flames. Psychologists from the emergency services were on-site providing assistance to 21 people.
Three residential buildings also sustained damage. Preliminary reports indicate that one person was injured.
Repeated air raid alerts complicated the rescue operations.
A total of 18 units of equipment and 70 firefighters were involved in the aftermath response, alongside one unit and four personnel from the Ukrainian Volunteer Firefighters Association, as well as one unit and four personnel from the city council's fire department.
