February 7, 2025 marks the opening of the exhibition «The Power of Resistance» at the Odesa National Art Museum.

This project showcases the non-violent resistance of Ukrainians in temporarily occupied territories, including resistance movements, methods of struggle, as well as informational and artistic resistance. Real stories illustrating the fight against Russian aggression will be presented.

At the opening, project curator Olga Mukha will lead a tour of the exhibition.

Starts at 15:00. Free admission.

The exhibition features: cartoon figures of «Russian liberators» by Sergey Zakharov, viral memes by Maxim Palenko, video narratives about «wounded» cultural objects in Trostyanets and Okhtyrka, as well as the consciousness maze «Inside the Outside» with posters by Crimean artist Antik Danov. Additionally, the documentary film «Resistance» by Akim Galimov and works by artists like Maria Kulikivska, Alevtina Kakhidze, and Liya Dostleva will be showcased.

Exclusively for the exhibition in Odesa, the third episode of the «Wounded Culture» series will be presented — «Odesa. Oral History». It narrates the story of a Russian missile hitting the Odesa Art Museum on November 5, 2023.

The presentation of the new episode from the «Wounded Culture» series will take place on February 8 at 16:00, featuring the director of the «Territory of Terror» museum, cultural scientist Olga Honchar.
