In the past week, Russia has launched approximately 1000 strike drones, nearly 980 guided aerial bombs, and 36 missiles of various types. This information was provided by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook.
Currently, recovery efforts are ongoing in Kharkiv, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions following the Russian strikes. Rescuers are also active in Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
“Last night, over 170 drones were launched at Ukraine, with at least half being ‘Shaheds’. Overall, this week, around 1000 strike drones, nearly 980 guided aerial bombs, and 36 missiles have been fired by the Russians against our people,” emphasized Zelensky.
He stressed that every night requires a multi-component air defense system – including air defense systems, combat aviation, mobile fire groups, and interceptor drones.
“We are actively working with partners on each component to add to Ukraine's defense. We have established new strong agreements with Europe to significantly strengthen our air defense, resilience, and diplomacy,” noted Zelensky
