The municipal enterprise «Water Service Center» manages 16 drinking fountains located throughout Odesa. The depth of the wells ranges from 110 to 150 meters. 

Each fountain provides between 8 to 12 cubic meters of water during operational hours (from 08:00 to 20:00). Clean water from the wells is accessible to everyone. 

Water quality from the fountains is tested monthly to ensure compliance with sanitary standards. 

On November 17, 2024, due to a massive attack on the country's energy sector, Odesa faced water and energy supply disruptions. This led to a surge in visitors to the fountains, with approximately 13,000 and 12,000 people visiting on November 17 and 18, respectively. 

On regular days, around 10,000 visitors use the city’s 14 fountains. Each fountain is equipped with an alternative power source in case of a blackout.

The fountains located in Mechnikov Park and on Yaroslav Mudry Avenue are closed for major repairs.
