Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the number of individuals needing comprehensive rehabilitation has been steadily increasing. Rehabilitation is essential after surgeries, injuries, prolonged treatments, or illnesses. The National Health Service of Ukraine reminds that every individual can receive free outpatient rehabilitation assistance, regardless of their residence or registration.

The medical guarantee program includes the provision of free rehabilitation under the package 'Rehabilitation Assistance for Adults and Children in Outpatient Settings.' Internally displaced persons may choose any institution in Kyiv that has a contract with the NHSU to provide this service. However, it is necessary to obtain an electronic referral from a family or treating doctor before making an appointment.

To find the nearest facilities, you can call the NHSU contact center at 16-77 or visit the Service's website using the analytical dashboard 'Electronic Map of Service Providers under the Medical Guarantee Program' at the following link: https://cutt.ly/keDoF37u (select the region, locality, and 'Service Package' – 'Rehabilitation Assistance for Adults and Children in Outpatient Settings').

Patients can choose departments, units, and rehabilitation specialists based on their specializations. A complete list of outpatient rehabilitation services is available at: https://cutt.ly/ieIPVARP.

If, at the time of contacting the rehabilitation facility, an internally displaced person is asked to pay for services covered by the Medical Guarantee Program or to make a charitable donation, this is a violation of patient rights and the terms of the NHSU's contract with the medical institution. In such cases, it is necessary to submit a complaint regarding the violation:
