The staff of the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» regularly carry out maintenance work on bus stops. Unfortunately, every day there are incidents of vandalism: people leave graffiti, break benches, uproot trash bins, and smash the glass of bus shelters. Some stops are also damaged due to traffic accidents.
Since the beginning of 2024, vandals have shattered glass in 33 public transport stops, damaged 33 benches, 85 trash bins, and 15 roofs. Additionally, the enterprise staff has to clean and wash off graffiti and flyers left on the walls of the stops.
Currently, the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» manages 1,012 public transport stops.
As part of their service, specialists regularly perform sanitary cleaning of adjacent areas, repair and restore trash bins, benches, and bus shelters, as well as wash and paint them.
The Odessa City Hall once again calls on residents and visitors to treat city property with care. Deliberate damage to municipal property can result in criminal liability.
