In Odessa, scheduled efforts to enhance the lawns along the roadside and in the median strip of Mykolaivska road are ongoing. A total of approximately 6800 m² of green space is set to be treated. This was reported by the press service of the Odessa City Council.

The work is being carried out by specialists from the Municipal Enterprise «City Green Trust» and the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads». Excess soil that has accumulated on the lawns is being removed, as it can cause contamination of the roadway during rain and negatively affect the area's appearance.

As of now, 4315 m² of the area has been treated, and seeds of ryegrass have already been sown on an area of 4255 m². All work on lowering the soil level and sowing the lawn is expected to be completed by the end of March 2025.
