The municipal enterprise «TMO» has been equipped with a new mobile power supply unit — an innovative complex featuring a diesel generator, solar panel system, and batteries.

The solar panels deliver a power output of 7.5 kW, while the generator provides 32 kW, and the battery capacity is 60 kW. The maximum load capacity that can be connected is up to 25 kW.

In case of a power outage or network damage, this mobile installation can swiftly supply electricity to essential facilities.

The city expresses deep gratitude to the project «Promotion of Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine», implemented by GIZ Ukraine on behalf of the German government, for enhancing the resilience of the Odesa community during crisis conditions.

The activities carried out under the project «Strengthening the Resilience of Cities in Urban Service Delivery in Ukraine» (SUR) are part of the German transitional assistance commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) and executed by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
