Today, April 12, 2025, the city of Chornomorsk celebrates its 52nd anniversary. In honor of this occasion, the city prepared an impressive amount of green borscht using quail and ostrich eggs, setting a national record for Ukraine.

This was reported by the Telegram channel «Odesa Life».

The mayor of Chornomorsk, Vasyl Huliaiev, stated that the city celebrated today not only with delicious food but also with a sense of patriotism.

The record-breaking borscht (which required 100 ostrich eggs) was cooked outdoors at a charity fair near the Sports Palace. Local chefs, volunteers, youth, and entrepreneurs came together to prepare the dish, which everyone was welcome to taste.

Residents and guests of Chornomorsk had the opportunity to visit festive fairs and enjoy tasty street food. All funds raised today will go to support our Armed Forces.
