On April 15, coinciding with the World Art Day, the unveiling of a new commemorative coin titled «The World of Couture Art: Lyubov Panchenko» took place, celebrating the multifaceted figure of the distinguished artist and designer Lyubov Panchenko.
This announcement was made by the National Bank of Ukraine.
The coin «The World of Couture Art: Lyubov Panchenko» has a face value of 10 hryvnias. It is made of 925 silver, with a minting quality category of «special uncirculated», a weight of precious metal in purity of 31.1 g, and a diameter of 38.6 mm. The edge of the coin is smooth with recessed inscriptions indicating the metal, its fineness, and the logo of the Banknote and Minting Institute.
The obverse of the coin features a stylized portrait of Lyubov Panchenko, framed by elements of her famous work «Bucha Spring».
The artist's gaze, filled with creative energy and freedom, seems to penetrate through time and space, symbolizing strength and devotion to ideals. The composition highlights the deep connection of the artist to her homeland.
«Bucha Spring» is not just a painting; it is a unique manifesto of beauty and resilience of spirit, as it was in Bucha that the artist was born and lived. This image will forever be etched in the memory of the city and in the hearts of her admirers, becoming a symbol of faith in revival.
