The Accessibility Week continues in Ukraine, culminating in the national conference «Path to Resilience» held on May 20 in Kyiv.

The event gathered representatives from governmental bodies, civil society organizations, and international partners.

Odesa was represented by advisor to the mayor on accessibility issues, Oleksiy Morozov, and the director of the Department of Internal Policy, Oleksandr Zhyltsov.

During a panel discussion focused on creating accessible communities, participants shared practical cases and challenges faced by Ukrainian cities.

The discussion was moderated by Tetiana Lomakina, the President’s advisor on accessibility.

«Accessibility is about people. We are pleased that Odesa's experiences are drawing interest, and we look forward to new ideas,» said Oleksiy Morozov.

«We have a clear understanding of how this works, as Odesa is building a system based on dialogue and real changes,» added Oleksandr Zhyltsov.

Odesa's experience in inclusion is becoming a key part of the national dialogue on sustainable community development.
