A fire broke out in an apartment building in Odessa due to a boiler short circuit. The flames spread over an area of 50 square meters. As a result of the incident, one woman was injured.
According to the State Emergency Service, the fire occurred on the evening of June 7 in the Primorsky district. The fire affected belongings in an apartment on the third floor of a five-story residential building on Pavlo Zelenuy Street.
"The fire was extinguished over an area of 50 square meters. A citizen born in 1961 was hospitalized in moderate condition. The probable cause of the fire is a malfunction in the electrical wiring of the boiler."
"Damage is currently being assessed. A total of 6 units of equipment and 26 rescuers were involved in the firefighting efforts," the press service reported.
