According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the large-scale attack from Russia on June 17, 12 fatalities have been confirmed: 10 in Kyiv and 2 in Odesa.

"As of 5:30 PM, due to the night strikes, 12 people have died. Of these, 10 were in Kyiv and 2 were retrieved from the rubble in Odesa.  Unfortunately, it's important to note that operational information can often change, as rescuers may discover body parts during search operations that were initially recorded as separate casualties. Final confirmations are provided by forensic experts after analysis in a mobile DNA lab".  – stated Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

The minister emphasized that rescuers and police continue to work at the sites of the attacks on residential infrastructure.

The rescue operation is ongoing at two locations in Kyiv. There are still people under the rubble, so the work will not stop until everyone is found, – assured Klymenko.
