The city of Odesa continues to implement the initiative «Barrier-Free Movement». 

A recent online meeting was held with the team from the central office of the initiative «Barrier-Free Movement», chaired by the Minister for Community Development and Infrastructure of Ukraine, Oleksii Kuleba, along with Deputy Minister Nataliia Kozlovska. 

During the meeting, the participants discussed the current status of the project in Odesa, including existing initiatives and future steps. 
The city has received new proposals for implementing barrier-free solutions that are now moving into practical application. A key priority is engaging businesses in adapting entrances to commercial establishments according to modern building codes. 

Some renovation work has already begun on sections included in the first phase of the barrier-free route. 

Odesa consistently remains among the leaders in implementing barrier-free solutions.
