On November 27, 2025, Odesa welcomed the visit of Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, Tatiana Kiriyenko.

The main goal of her visit was to familiarize herself with the operations of local social services, particularly those supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs) and citizens affected by the armed conflict.

During her stay, Tatiana Kiriyenko visited:

  • The Center for Psychosocial Assistance for IDPs and those affected by the armed conflict at the Odesa City Council Social Services Center;
  • The front office of the Integrated Social Services Center located at Kosivska, 2D;
  • The Assistance Center for those in need;
  • The “Veterans’ One-Stop Shop” based at the Administrative Services Center;
  • The Service Center No. 11 of the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

The visit focused on coordinating actions and uniting the ministry's efforts with local authorities and partners to avoid duplication of assistance programs and ensure the most effective support for vulnerable populations.

Tatiana Kiriyenko emphasized the importance of ensuring inclusivity and accessibility of social services at all levels, which is a priority in the context of wartime and post-war recovery.

The meeting also included the Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Dmytro Radulov.

Odesa continues to be a city where people receive not only assistance but also warmth, support, and hope for the future.
