The city of Odesa is home to a contemporary Memorial Museum that highlights the events of the Holocaust. Like many other cities, it carries a tragic history linked to these horrific events. We remember those who perished and honor their memory. Museum exhibitions, displays, and educational programs are crucial for passing this memory to future generations.
Last year, a unique memorial area was established in Odesa, dedicated to the genocide of various peoples. A team has come together here to preserve and convey human stories infused with the spirit of enlightenment.
The Memorial Museum is located in the post office building at 10 Sadova Street.
On January 27, 2025, the global community will honor the tragic events - it marks 80 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. This day is recognized as International Holocaust Remembrance Day and a day to prevent crimes against humanity.
