Renowned Ukrainian artist Mykhailo Reva introduced children to the secrets behind the creation of Odesa's sculptures.
Mykhailo Reva is a talented sculptor, architect, and graphic artist, known as a symbol of Odesa. His works adorn not only the city but also many countries around the world. Among his iconic pieces are «The 12th Chair» in the City Garden, «Angel of Mercy» near the Litvak Rehabilitation Center, «Tree of Love», and the fountain «Beginning of Beginnings» in the Greek Park.
The artist is the founder of the Reva Foundation and has won awards in international competitions, including a prize in the Babyn Yar Memorial Museum Complex project.
«Sculptures preserve the memory of events, people, and eras; they serve as markers of time that shape the character of urban spaces. Such moments — encounters with the younger generation — are investments in culture as a way of thinking,» noted Mykhailo Reva.
During the workshop tour, children learned about the process of creating sculptures, saw the materials used by the artist, and discovered his current projects.
