Restoration work at the building on Sofiivska Street is ongoing. The installation of a reinforced belt for wall binding has been completed, along with roofing over the most damaged section of the building. Only a small portion of the roof remains to be covered. 
 
Today, October 31, 2024, Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, met with the residents of the building to discuss pressing issues. Among the top priorities are the installation of a ceiling between the new roof and the apartments, restoration of windows and heating systems, as well as repairing the staircases in one of the entrances. 
 
The mayor emphasized the importance of partnerships with charitable and community organizations providing construction materials, allowing emergency work to be done more swiftly. He expressed hope for continued collaboration, as budget procedures take considerable time, especially when dealing with architectural landmarks. 

Mayor Trukhanov thanked the "Morning of Revival" Charitable Foundation, the "Tenth of April" NGO, and UNHCR for their ongoing support and provision of building materials. 
 
Emergency work at the building on Sofiivska Street is being carried out by "ZKS Porto-Frankivsk" with the support of the humanitarian advisor to the Odesa mayor, Veronika Etnarovych.
