An international delegation, including representatives from UNDP, UNOPS, and UNFPA, is visiting Odesa.
This visit, featuring five UN ambassadors, was organized as part of collaborative efforts with the mentioned agencies.
During their working visit, the delegation toured facilities supported by the UN.
The mayor expressed gratitude for the assistance provided to Odesa, particularly for the renovation of one of the departments in Hospital No. 8.
Gennady Trukhanov noted that the hospital plays a crucial role in saving lives, even though it is not an emergency facility. Many lives have been saved here, especially those injured in hostile attacks, thanks to the highly qualified staff and new equipment.
Participants also discussed further cooperation, including attracting international investments for infrastructure projects such as the reconstruction of sewerage and drainage systems, as well as the construction of housing for internally displaced persons.
