The Mayor of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, Mr. Andreas Bovenstuhle, visited the Odesa region to strengthen cooperation. This is his first visit to Ukraine, and it is invaluable for us to have such a reliable partner as Bremen. The visit began with honoring the Heroes who lost their lives for Ukraine's independence.

The delegation then visited the Nerubaysk Academic Lyceum, where new kitchen equipment was installed thanks to Bremen's support.

At the Odesa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, Mr. Bovenstuhle met little Yesenia, who was supported by a ventilator donated by Bremen at birth. This device continues to save newborns in Ukraine. The Mayor also learned about the results of the renovation work funded by partners at the Ukrainian Rehabilitation Center for Mothers and Children.

The delegation toured the historic center of Odesa, witnessing the destruction caused by the aggressor country's attacks.

The visit concluded in Petrodolynske, where modular homes for displaced persons have been set up with Bremen's support, along with plans for a new outpatient clinic.

This visit reaffirmed Bremen's solidarity with Odesa, and we look forward to continued cooperation.
