Police in Odesa have successfully identified and arrested an individual responsible for setting fire to cars in an underground parking garage in Arkadia. The suspect was apprehended on the same day, facing a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

A few days ago, during curfew hours, a man gained access to the parking lot of a residential building, doused two BMW cars belonging to a local woman with gasoline, and set them on fire. The flames spread to nearby BMW and Hyundai vehicles owned by local men. Firefighters extinguished the blaze. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Authorities identified the suspect as a 27-year-old resident of Mykolaiv. He was arrested while attempting to return home on a minibus. He has been charged with willful damage to property by arson. The court has placed him in custody with the option of posting bail set at 908,400 UAH. The man faces a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
