A tragic incident occurred in Odesa when a man decided to experiment with a hand grenade in a friend's apartment. The explosion happened during a gathering, resulting in the hospitalization of all present.

On April 11, a powerful explosion rocked the Peresyp district of Odesa. In one of the high-rise apartments, a significant incident took place.

According to the National Police, a friend visited a couple living in the building where the explosion occurred, bringing along a grenade. For unknown reasons, he decided to pull the pin, leading to an explosion that shattered the apartment's windows.

Fortunately, no one was killed, but all three sustained injuries. The perpetrator suffered a leg injury and was taken to the hospital. The couple was also hospitalized, but their injuries were not serious.

The police are interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence to investigate the circumstances of this incident.

Preliminary findings indicate that improper handling of explosive materials was the cause of the incident.
