The Ukrainian Boxing Championship for men and women (elite) 2025 concluded triumphantly in Odessa!

From March 9 to 16, the «Olympiec» sports complex became the heart of Ukrainian boxing. A total of 204 athletes, including 69 women and 135 men, competed for victory, showcasing their strength, skill, and desire for glory.

Among the awardees were representatives from Odessa:

  • Nikita Pohazhy (63.5 kg) Coaches — Mykhailo Serzhenyuk and Yevhenii Pobrizhets
  • Vladislav Havryliuk (51 kg) Coaches — Yevhenii Bylyk and Valerii Kharlamov
  • Isa Tagiyev (54 kg) Coaches — Volodymyr Osipchuk and Ihor Hordiienko
  • Oksana Bondarenko (54 kg) Coaches — Andrii Medoyan and Volodymyr Osipchuk

The prize fund for the event was 1,000,000 UAH!
For the first time in the history of Ukrainian boxing, each champion in 12 women's and 13 men's weight categories received 40,000 UAH in prizes.
All finalists were awarded medals, diplomas, official calendars, and champions received winner's trophies. Coaches who contribute to each athlete's success were recognized separately.

During the ceremonial part of the finals, the First Deputy Head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Kharlov, congratulated the athletes, coaches, and guests. He emphasized the high level of organization of the championship and the skill of the athletes, wishing them fair and spectacular matches.

The 2025 Ukrainian Championship once again proved that Ukrainian boxing is about strength, character, and the pursuit of victory! Odessa takes pride in its athletes and continues to support them on their journey to new heights!
