The national rowing championship took place in the capital of Ukraine, dedicated to the memory of the renowned coach Stanislav Zahori.

28 teams from across Ukraine participated in the tournament. Odessa was represented by a team of adaptive athletes – veterans who were injured during the war, now actively engaging in sports and proving that willpower and team spirit can overcome any barriers.

Prior to the tournament, the Odessa team held training sessions, familiarized themselves with the route, and geared up for the competition – ahead were distances that required endurance, teamwork, and inner strength. The competition was fierce, and the opponents were strong.

During the competition, the Odessa rowers once again showcased their high level of preparation and determination to win, achieving prize-winning placements. It was the spirit, endurance, daily training, and true team support that brought them the deserved success.

This victory is not just a sports achievement, but a significant step towards full recognition of adaptive sports. Our athletes prove that nothing is impossible.

Odessa will continue to support the development of adaptive sports and the creation of equal opportunities for everyone.
