The Ukrainian U-21 football team triumphed over Spain U-21 in a friendly match.

The game concluded with a score of 1:0, serving as preparation for the 2025 European Championship.

Spain took control from the outset but failed to create real scoring opportunities. Ukraine became more active towards the end of the first half, with Nazar Voloshin having the most dangerous chance, but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper.

At the start of the second half, the Spaniards completely changed their starting lineup, while Ukraine made only a goalkeeper substitution.

The second half also saw Spain dominating. However, a solid performance by Ermakov saved the Ukrainian team on the 79th minute after a deflected shot from Moleiro. The "blue and yellows" had a chance to score with Mykhavko’s header aiming for the near corner of the goal.

In stoppage time, Ukraine managed to snatch the victory as Ilya Kvasnytsia headed the ball into the net following a cross from Bohdan V'yunyk.
