The European Muay Thai Championship took place in Athens, Greece, from November 18 to 25, 2025.
A total of 536 athletes from 46 different countries participated in the competitions.
The Ukrainian national team consisted of representatives from Complex Children and Youth Sports Schools No. 7 and No. 16 in Odesa.
In the "wai khru" category, champions included Ivan Rasputny, Anastasia Yevtushenko, and Iryna Ladynenko (all from Sports School No. 7), while Valeriy Denysov (School No. 16) earned a silver medal.
Among athletes aged 12-13, Diana Savotina achieved great success, becoming the champion by defeating Polish athlete Sandra Kazimierska, while Ivan Rasputny secured a bronze medal.
In the 14-15 age category, representatives from Sports School No. 7 also won two silver medals, with Kyrylo Berezovskyi and Yelyzaveta Velikova earning podium finishes.
In the U-23 category, European champion title went to Elina Perstnyova (School No. 16).
Moreover, athletes from Sports School No. 7 performed exceptionally well in the adult competitions. Mykhailo Serdiuk and Bohdan Studnev became European champions, while Nikita Kuts and Dmytro Zanin won bronze medals.
The athletes were prepared by coaches: Hanna Yevtushenko, Volodymyr Pishenin, Liliya Shapoval, Hanna Avakova, Mykhailo Mitaki, Andriy Vakaraash (School No. 7), and Maksym Neledva (School No. 16).
