A new Children’s Daycare Center called «Bessarabian Fortress» will soon commence operations in the village of Bessarabia. This center will offer a safe environment for children aged 5 to 14 from large, displaced, and vulnerable families. The news was shared by the Bessarabian village council of the Bolgrad district.
At the center, children will not only play and learn but also work with a psychologist and speech therapist, prepare for school, and make new friends—all in a gadget-free environment.
The project is being implemented with the support of the international charitable organization SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine as part of the «Emergency Assistance Program», in collaboration with the NGO «Culture of Democracy» and the Bessarabian village social service center.
While the children are under the care of educators, parents will have the opportunity to attend to their own needs—finding jobs, visiting doctors, or addressing other needs.
The center will also host special meetings for parents to help them better understand their children, support them, and build trusting relationships.
«Bessarabian Fortress» is a step towards a stronger community through caring for children and their future.
