The renowned tenor of the Odessa National Opera, honored artist of Ukraine, Vladislav Gorai, tragically lost his life on June 8 while carrying out a volunteer mission in the Sumy region.

It was reported that on June 8, performing his essential volunteer work in the Sumy region, Vladislav Gorai, a soloist of the Odessa National Opera, world-class tenor, devoted father, and a person with a big heart, passed away.
Vladislav's voice resonated across the world, and his heart belonged to Ukraine. He was not just a stage talent but a symbol of strength, dignity, and kindness. Even in the darkest times, he never stayed away, always assisting and supporting others.
Additional information: Vladislav Gorai was a laureate of numerous awards, including the national chamber music competition in Khmelnytskyi and the Antonín Dvořák International Vocal Competition in the Czech Republic. He had been with the Odessa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet since 1993 and received the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine in 2013. His repertoire included over twenty opera roles.
