On the night of June 20, the city of Odesa was once again attacked by the enemy.
According to the State Emergency Service, over 10 strikes by drones were recorded.
The mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, reported serious damage in the city center, affecting residential buildings, vehicles, and educational institutions.
A massive fire broke out as a result of the drone strike, literally destroying a four-story residential building. Rescuers managed to save 3 people, while another 6 were evacuated.
During the firefighting efforts, structures collapsed on the rescuers, injuring 3 firefighters, who are now in stable condition at the hospital.
On the coast, a fire ignited due to a downed drone, damaging recreational facilities.
In another part of the city, a gas pipeline was damaged.
All services are currently working at the scene.
Preliminary reports indicate that a total of 14 people were injured last night, including 3 rescuers.
Ukrzaliznytsia reported that due to the night drone attack, the infrastructure of Odesa's railway station was damaged.
The contact network and rail structure were affected.
Fortunately, there were no casualties. Specialists from Ukrzaliznytsia are already working on eliminating the aftermath.
Train services are operating on schedule.
