The enemy launched a nighttime drone attack on the Izmail region, causing damage to gas infrastructure. A fire broke out at the site, which was quickly extinguished by emergency responders.

The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, reported that despite the active operation of air defense forces, the gas infrastructure suffered considerable damage. The fire ignited on site and was put out by firefighters at 07:25. Currently, gas is being released from the system.

"Production equipment was destroyed by the flames. As a result of the damage to the main gas pipeline, 2,500 consumers have been temporarily disconnected. Efforts to address the aftermath are ongoing. All authorized services are working at the scene. Law enforcement is documenting yet another crime committed by the Russians against the civilian population," Kiper noted.
