Following a night attack by the Russian Federation on the port of Izmail, a fire occurred involving gas pumping equipment located on a civilian vessel flying the Turkish flag. This was reported by the State Administration of Maritime Ports of Ukraine on social media.
An operational headquarters has been established at the scene, led by the head of the Izmail District Administration.
Emergency response units, including teams equipped with robotic systems, have been engaged in the operation, along with auxiliary services.
The situation is under constant monitoring.
According to local authorities, there is currently no reason to evacuate the population.
The State Administration of Maritime Ports of Ukraine is actively participating in all coordination processes and taking necessary actions within its competence.
