Emergency services successfully extinguished a fire on a vessel that ignited due to a nighttime attack on Izmail port on November 17. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Facebook.
"The fire on the civilian vessel, which occurred after the attack on Izmail port from November 16 to 17, has been extinguished. The situation is under control," the post states.
According to the AMPU, the operational headquarters is continuing its work. Specialists are assessing the state of the facility and determining further response actions.
Simultaneously, efforts are ongoing in the port to mitigate the aftermath of the shelling and to fully restore infrastructure operations.
It is worth noting that following the attack on November 17, a gas pumping equipment on board a civilian vessel flying the Turkish flag caught fire.
