On November 27, Russia launched a ballistic missile, the «Iskander-M», targeting the Odesa region. The launch occurred from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to the Air Command «South», in the past day, air defense in southern Ukraine destroyed one «Gerbera» UAV, nine strike drones, and one reconnaissance drone. Additionally, during the night of November 28, defense forces shot down three strike UAVs, including types «Shahed» and «Gerbera».
It is important to note that during the night of November 27, Russian strike drones targeted the Odesa region. As a result, the facades and windows of two residential buildings, a equestrian sports club, and a gas station structure were damaged. Rescue teams promptly extinguished localized fires that broke out in several locations. There were no casualties reported.
Moreover, the «Iskander-M» ballistic missile remains one of the most dangerous missile systems due to its speed, accuracy, large warhead, and ability to penetrate even strong air defense systems.
