A hostile mine was washed ashore on one of the beaches in Odesa. The explosive device was safely disposed of through a controlled detonation.
This was reported by the Southern Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service.
A local resident discovered the mine and promptly notified the nearest border guard unit.
The border guards then informed specialists from the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who arrived on the scene, identified the explosive, ensured its transportation, and destroyed it through a controlled explosion.
The State Border Guard Service reminds everyone that if suspicious objects are found, one should not approach or touch them but immediately report to the appropriate authorities.
