In Odesa, the restoration of the multi-apartment residential building at Serednya Street, 24, Corp. 4, which was affected by a massive Russian missile attack, is ongoing.

The structure sustained significant damage to its external elements, partitions, and structural components. Experts note that only due to timely stabilization work was the building saved from collapse.
Recently, active restoration works have begun.

«Restoration efforts are being conducted in a zone of heightened danger due to the presence of 11 floors above without vertical support over an area of approximately 100 square meters», emphasized Artem Zakharov, Deputy Director of the City Economy Department of the Odesa City Council.

«Most of the demolition work has been completed. We have moved on to a more challenging phase - restoring the reinforced concrete frame. The first vertical column element has been created. Preparatory work for pouring the second slab, which will strengthen this structure, has commenced», stated Anatoliy Rahulin, director of LLC «Stikon».

Builders indicate that the work is quite labor-intensive and complex, with no analogs in Ukraine. To preserve all parts of the structure, work must be done partially and in specific areas. This takes more time, but is more effective for maintaining the multi-story building.

The work is planned to be completed by the end of June 2025.
