• How can we make educational programs truly beneficial for businesses?
  • What knowledge do entrepreneurs need to help scale their businesses?
  • How can we unite business, education, and government for effective regional development?

We will seek answers to these questions together through the project «BizON» — promoting, transforming, and inclusively developing business education in selected regions of Ukraine. Our goal is to establish effective dialogue between entrepreneurs and educational institutions to create truly effective training programs.

 What will happen in Odesa?

A project presentation and roundtable will take place in mid-March.

We will introduce the project and its partners, discuss the needs of local businesses, and identify the challenges faced by educational institutions to jointly define what effective business education should look like.

A regional forum is scheduled for the second half of April.

We will invite entrepreneurs, educators, and government representatives to develop a roadmap for business education in the Odesa region.

A meetup is also planned for the latter half of April.

In an informal setting, we will exchange ideas and work on modernizing existing and starting new training programs for entrepreneurs. We will also discuss how to align the financial autonomy of educational institutions with state requirements for training programs.

Additionally, we invite you to a series of webinars:

February — we will discuss productivity and how to achieve it in the modern world, analyzing successful Ukrainian business cases.

March — we will delve into innovations in business and try to understand what it means to «create innovations».

April — together we will navigate the Bermuda triangle of «Education — Business — Government» and explore whether it is truly as perilous as it seems.

Throughout the implementation of the project, we will identify additional topics for discussion in the format of webinars or expert online discussions.

Pavlo Sheremeta, founding dean of the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School and prominent economist, will serve as the ambassador for this educational program.

Join us! Together, we can launch quality educational programs for businesses that will help entrepreneurs in the region grow and thrive.

This initiative is being implemented by the Center for Public Expertise under the project «Transformational Recovery for Human Security in Ukraine», with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine and financial backing from the Government of Japan.
