In collaboration with the Ministry of Regional Development, work continues in Odesa on the implementation of the «Barrier-Free Routes» initiative, aimed at creating a comfortable and accessible urban environment for all citizens.

The Barrier-Free Council has begun a comprehensive inspection of all tram routes in Odesa.

From April 23 to 25, the accessibility of public electric transport will be evaluated.

Members of the expert group of the Barrier-Free Council, along with specialists, conducted monitoring of routes: No. 11, 13, 17, 18, 5, 10, and 28. Upcoming inspections will cover routes No. 21, 15, and 12.

During the inspection, the condition of platforms, access to stops, and the availability of trams were assessed.

All data collected during the monitoring, along with comments and recommendations, will be organized and presented at the next Barrier-Free Council meeting.

The goal is not just to document issues but to launch a clear mechanism for change.
