Today, April 27, an unfortunate event occurred on Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue.
Dmitry Slyuta, head of the transport crime investigation department of the Odessa region police, reported that a 46-year-old woman driving a 'Ravon' lost control while exiting a car wash. As a result, she damaged a fence and drove onto the sidewalk, hitting a 7-year-old girl who was pressed against a parked 'Renault' vehicle.
Medical personnel hospitalized the child with suspected pubic bone fracture and multiple bruises.
Police checked the driver for intoxication – she was sober.
The investigative group is continuing to clarify the circumstances of the traffic accident. A question regarding the entry of information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations is being resolved.
Police once again urge drivers to strictly adhere to traffic rules and to be cautious behind the wheel.
