On the evening of February 28, the Odesa region faced drone strikes that targeted the area. Reports indicate that the Odesa district was hit. One man lost his life as a result of this attack, according to prosecutors.

The victim was identified as a 41-year-old man, while three others sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital. The attack caused damage to a private residence, a business establishment, as well as several vehicles.

Investigations are ongoing to assess the full extent of the damage. Prosecutors are on-site, working alongside law enforcement to document the consequences of this military aggression.

“Under the procedural leadership of the Odesa regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the commission of war crimes resulting in loss of life (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigation is being carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region” – the statement reads.
