A senior official of one of the municipal enterprises of the Odessa City Council has been detained on suspicion of corruption for allegedly accepting a bribe of $2700. The suspect has been informed of the charges, which carry a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison along with property confiscation.

The investigators informed the suspect of the charges under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For illicit gains, he faces up to 10 years of imprisonment with a ban on holding certain positions or engaging in specific activities for up to three years, along with property confiscation.
